Loránt Gati

Head of Cluster: ERP Solutions

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Waking up next to my wife and having coffee with her. Learning something new, helping people in the team and solving every task so that the customer is satisfied.

My career path: Very long. A little travel around the world and then 14 years in a manufacturing company. 8 years of which in sales and then 7 years in logistics. I left there as a Supply Chain Manager. Subsequently, I changed the industry and moved to an IT company, where I started as an operations manager and after some time was in charge of team responsible for the change requirements on the devices in the data centers. I've been at FPT since 2019.

I am responsible for: The logistics services team for ERP solutions with the main focus on SAP, i.e. mainly material management and supplier management.

The most amazing part of my job is: Working with amazing people I can learn from and support at work.

The biggest challenge I faced: For me, every challenge is an opportunity and when talking about occasions, I follow Richard Brandson's motto "If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes - then learn how to do it later ”. The big challenge for me was the change of industry after 14 years of experience. Transition from the metallurgical industry to IT.

The most memorable moment in my career: When I got an Oscar for the role of the best "boss". It was a farewell from my previous team. I really appreciate it.

I expect from people: First and foremost open communication, team spirit, responsibility and of course good cooperation.

When leading people I consider important: Trying to find a way to each person in the team and lead him individually. Adding value to people every day and trying to develop them. Leaving them independent, but at the same time being ready to support them when they need it. Not looking at failures as something bad, but perceiving them as a space for learning and improvement. I also consider it important to build a feedback culture.

When I’m not working: I spend time with my family, working around the house and in the garden listening to music.

Tibor Gujdán

Tibor Gujdán

Head of Cluster: Innovation Center of Excellence

When I get up for work, I look forward to: The new challenges awaiting me, new opportunities where I can work with colleagues, thus getting new projects and increase business at FPT Slovakia.

My career path: I started as a .Net and Sql developer, where, I started, like everyone else, with simple tasks, gradually gaining experience until I was able to deliver and design complex solutions. Later, I decided on a career change and started focusing on people management and generating new business to take our company and our people to the next level.

I am responsible for: Designing services and delivery models for the customer, adhering to quality, development of people and, last but not least, finding new opportunities, projects for our and future colleagues.

The most amazing part of my job is: When two paths meet, namely the customer's request and the solution proposal of our team, which leads to the acquisition of the project and, of course, to the growth of our colleagues.

The biggest challenge I faced: It often happens when negotiating and defending the price of a solution in front of a customer and convincing the customer that we are the right partner, because the competition is fierce. But we at FPT can certainly provide a unique approach, with unique designs.

The most memorable moment in my career: When we tried to start a whole new stream in the field of SmartHome. We started two, but this business expanded thanks to our amazing commitment and eventually more than 26 people participated in it.

I expect from people: Transparency, humanity, sincerity, professionalism. I value when people have a vision, since I try to fulfill this as a leader.

When leading people I consider important: Communication. I want people to know they have my trust, support and they can believe in the decisions I make. I expect the same from my people, that's the only way it can work.

When I’m not working: I'm spending time with my family, when you miss this time, you'll never catch up. We have a lifetime for a career.

 Peter Chlebák

Peter Chlebák

Head of Cluster: Test, Automation and New Technologies

When I get up for work, I look forward to: What the new day will bring and to meetings with colleagues.

My career path: As a graduate of quality management, I started as an Engineer and later as a Quality Manager in manufacturing companies in various parts of Slovakia. Finally, I had the opportunity to return to Košice and start working for the Utility company within BPM. From there, it was just a step into our company.

I am responsible for: Team New Technology Solutions.

The most amazing part of my job is: Discovering new things.

The biggest challenge I faced:  Transition and rebirth of the company from RWE IT Slovakia to Fpt Slovakia.

The most memorable moment in my career: Evaluation from the CEO and the customer after handing over the first comprehensive module from the chip production line in my first job. It was my first big job.

I expect from people: Openness and directness.

When leading people I consider important: Openness and directness.

When I’m not working: Spending time with my family.

Lucia Tomková

Lucia Tomková

HR Manager

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Sunrise, breakfast and morning coffee. And then to all new beginnings.

My career path: My path in this company was very varied, for which I am extremely grateful. Understanding the principles of the financial and personnel team immediately after graduating from university was an excellent basis for further growth. I lingered for a while on the topic of internal communication and events. Having free hand in the implementation of communication channels or a wide open door for creativity also brought us the fruit of dreams - prestigious awards. The Intranet was awarded by the Syndicate of Journalists and regarding the events we received the first EIBEA award from magical Seville. The Via Bona award adorns the FPT entrance to this day. Marketing and internal communication went hand in hand and I managed to lead more than one trendsetter project. Actually, we don’t do any other. After all, it is not for nothing that we are the winner of the Best Employer award. After a string of great projects in this area and after 10 years of gaining experience, I accepted the offer to lead the HR team. Thus, I have an open gate of endless possibilities and a deep well of opportunities to learn new things.

I am responsible for: The team of the best professionals under the sun - HR team! And my family.

The most amazing part of my job is: That we have the opportunity to build things and change at the same time and even influence them, because our hands are not tied. We have the trust and the door to new things wide open. All you have to do is to want and notice new trends.

The biggest challenge I faced: RWE's transition to FPT, and thus the transition from an internal service provider, i.e. from a world with a guaranteed job, to the real world of big business.

The most memorable moment in my career: When I realized the important idea: "Nothing is older than yesterday's success."

I expect from people:  Sincerity, dedication, perspective, significant flexibility and expertise.

When leading people I consider important: To focus on development, results, WLB, satisfaction and especially happiness in our lives.

When I’m not working: I enjoy the moments 😊.

Finance and Controling

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Lunch.

My career path: In IT, it started with the first steps with a PC still in the time of the Didaktik Alfa and PMD 85. When I first started working, I started as an SAP IS-U consultant and gradually went through several modules (FI-CA, Master Data, CIC, Device Management, IDE). After a few years, in addition to consulting work, I also accepted the role of a team leader. Another milestone was taking responsibility for finance in our company and everything related to it (sometimes not so. In parallel to the activities in the field of finance, it was a very interesting experience to build and run a completely new team for reporting and BI / QlikView. This challenge was soon replaced by another, even bigger one: transformation and integration of the entire "FI" from the RWE environment into the FPT group and ensuring of everything related to it.

I am responsible for: Finance - controlling - reporting - budgeting - contracts - back office.

The most amazing part of my job is: The one I don't have to do anymore, because I systematically solved it "yesterday".

The biggest challenge I faced: The transformation and integration of the entire "FI" from the RWE environment into the FPT group.

The most memorable moment in my career: It is connected with the transformation and integration of the "FI" from the RWE environment into the FPT group.

I expect people to: Everyone will do their job as if they were doing it for themselves, or for your company.

When leading people I consider important: Fairness.

When I’m not working: Then I'm working on something else… And when I'm not really working, I'm cycling or solving construction details and puzzles or broadening my horizons.

Automation and Testing Solutions

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Good coffee and then meetings with people.

My career path: My career path started in Fpt Slovakia right after graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. I joined the company as an RPA Developer. After four years of automation using Blue Prism, as a member of the ATS team I finally got an ISTQB certificate.

I am responsible for: Since June, it’s the ATS team (Automation and Testing Services).

The most amazing part of my job is: Up to this moment it was seeing how the automated process is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, and it will not surprise us with any unpredictable situation.

The biggest challenge I faced: There was always something different that I considered a challenge in every period. But I think that the greatest one has only just begun.

The most memorable moment in my career:  I would love to say that the most memorable moment is connected with a job well done, however, a different moment always springs to mind - when in my first week at work I caused the power to go out on the whole floor. Thanks to me, everyone had an unexpected break. Unfortunately, the coffee maker didn’t work either.

I expect people to: Fairness and sincerity.

When leading people I consider important: Communication and openness - I think every problem or obstacle can be tackled if we are not afraid to openly talk about them and thus look for a suitable solution.

When I'm not workingI’m dancing, trying to preserve or reconstruct old folk costumes, and if there’s enough time left, I enjoy reading a good book.

ERP Business Inteligence Services

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Communication with people and with customers. I'm happy when I manage to help someone or solve a problem. Probably the greatest joy for me is when I can convince a new customer that we are the right partner and supplier of IT services.

My career path: In 2007 I graduated from the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence at the FEI in Košice. Immediately after school, I got a job in a field that I studied and started working as a programmer for automated PLC systems (eg SIEMENS, ABB, SMS SIEMAG). After 3 years spent traveling around the world and programming various lines, conveyors, turbines, iron and chocolate factories, I decided to change jobs and in 2010 I joined RWE IT Slovakia. This time I looked at SW and HW from a completely different side, as a tester, later I continued as a Test Manager and since 2011 I have been working as a Team Leader. If we do not take into account that in 2015 RWE IT Slovakia was renamed to FPT Slovakia, then I have been satisfied with my current employer for more than 10 years.

I am responsible for: I am currently responsible for the FSK-DTS-ATS team. This team consists of 52 people who focus mainly on Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Performance Testing, Test Management and RPA - Robotic Process Automation.

The most amazing part of my job is: It's working with people. When working with people, whether they are colleagues, bosses or customers, not a single day at work is the same.

The biggest challenge I faced: There have been a lot of challenges in the last 14 working years. But life has taught me that it's not a problem to keep things running, it's a problem to create things that don't exist yet. In my professional life it was: Programming and launching a hot rolling mill at the Ironworks in Mobile city in Alabama (2008-2010); Creation of a completely new team for testing infrastructure and security (2010 - 2013); Creation and deployment of a new RPA team, which consists of about 20 people (2018 - 2020).

The most memorable moment in my career: I remember how my whole team stood up for me in one awkward situation without me knowing about it. I found out about 2 weeks after solving the problem. Such things always make a person happy and he will remember them for a lifetime.

I expect from people: Honesty, transparency and fulfillment of the things we agree on. Everyone can expect the same from me.

When leading people I consider important: Communication, empathy, fairness and keeping the word.

When I’m not working: I like to spend time with my family and loved ones. I also like to travel for art and culture.

ERP Authorizations and Basis Services

When I get up for work, I look forward to: I'm looking forward to smiling colleagues, good coffee, to how many things we can do if everything goes as it should.

My career path: My career path began in Ireland in the call centers of Western Union and later PayPal. Gradually, I worked my way up to the role of Enterprise Risk Manager for the DE / AT / CH market. It was great, but I decided to return to Slovakia.

After returning home, I got a job in an IT corporation as Sr. Lead Incident Manager, later Team Lead. One team gradually grew into two and from December 1, 2021 I joined the FPT as a Line Manager for the ABS team.

I am responsible for: The ABS Team.

The most amazing part of my job is: The most amazing thing is that it is new and unexplored as a gift under the Christmas tree.

The biggest challenge I faced: Finishing school in Switzerland in addition to working with the vision that I might be able to do it, that I might save, and that it would be useful for me someday.

The most memorable moment in my career: I will never forget the Global Rewards and Recognition - Customer choice award at PayPal and the farewell at Telekom.

I expect people to: I expect us to trust, play fair, support and act as a team.

When leading people I consider important: To know the goals and dreams, the motives of the people, to have clearly defined expectations and rules of the game and at the same time the possibility and space for development.

When I’m not working: When I'm not at work, I'm with children. I help with football at a local kids' club and as a volunteer I am teaching kids programming at school. I run OZ Kapysko at our school, we try to build playgrounds and outdoor classrooms. I go anywhere ... swim, ski, skate, to events, festivals ... according to the season. I am always doing something and I like to live life.

Integration, Collaboration & Quality Solutions
When I get up for work, I look forward to: To walk our pet and have breakfast with my daughter.

My career path: I started my career as a Programmer Specialist. In 2012, I took on the position of Team Leader and gradually took over responsibility for Trading. Currently, as a Service Delivery Manager, together with my team mates, I deliver services and solutions to customers from all over the world and from several domains.

I am responsible for: I am responsible for the Delivery area entrusted to me, focusing on growth in individual areas with the help of the Bestshore model. I am responsible for creating work orders, agreements on rates and payments and monthly control of delivered services with the customer. I work closely with Account Management and report directly to Head of Delivery.

The most amazing part of my job is: When we manage to get a new interesting project, when we have space for the "out of the box thinking" and when our ideas are successfully implemented with the customer.

The biggest challenge I faced: One of the most interesting ones was related to rebranding. This event was associated with the uncertainty that had to be faced and it was necessary to encourage everyone in my team that the change will bring us new opportunities and customers from all over the world.

The most memorable moment in my career: It wasn't just one, there were definitely more of them. One of them was when, after several months of effort and a series of changes, we managed to get the maximum satisfaction of an extremely demanding and always critical customer.

I expect people to: That they will have the desire to constantly learn and improve in their field, curiosity and enthusiasm for new things and technologies. I also consider the willingness to share my knowledge with others in the team and in the company to be very important.

When leading people I consider important: To have personal integrity – to mean what you say. Approach everyone fairly and give everyone space for their professional development.

When I’m not working: I like to spend time with my family and loved ones. I also like to travel for art and culture.

Consulting Testing Solutions

When I get up for work, I look forward to: I am happy when it's raining and windy outside, I can stay warm and join meetings from home office. On the other hand, when it's nice outside I can go out and get energy and inspiration for a new day and dealing with tasks.

My career path: At the University (PHF KE, EU BA) everyone knew that afterwards, I want to work in U.S.Steel in the marketing or sales department. And that's what really happened. But life goes on, and after organizational changes at the sales department, I looked for an escape and found it in the newly opened testing department for the USS Corp. My career path thus changed and after two years I moved on to RWE IT Slovakia, which later transformed into FPT Slovakia. From a Test Analyst, I gradually found my way to the Test Manager, and when our department grew, it was just a step to a Unit Manager.

I am responsible for: Since January 1, 2022, it is the CTS - Consulting and Testing Services department, which has separated from the original ATS (Automation and Testing Services) team. However, we continue to work closely together.

The most amazing part of my job is: When I find a solution like "to have your cake and eat it too" to a problem that seemed unsolvable at first.

The biggest challenge I faced: When I had to promote our team on the Smart Metering project in England as a new test manager. The main supplier was a well-known global company and they created a very hostile environment for us. They found the defects we found to be insignificant and caused by our ignorance. It wasn't until the penultimate day of the testing phase that they asked for our test data. It was confirmed that the two key subsystems (SAP and MDMS with data from smartmeters) were not synchronized with each other. Therefore, our end-to-end tests could not run smoothly due to poor system configuration. Our reputation was suddenly repaired and the supplier started to cooperate.

The most memorable moment in my career:Traveling to customers is also related to our work in the field of testing (in a world without corona). Once I managed to book hotel rooms for my colleague and me for the wrong night. This problem could easily be fixed otherwise, if it was not for the small town and night when the Bundesliga played there. I have already seen in my imagination how we return by train somewhere to Munich. Fortunately, there were two small rooms in the hotel that they were ashamed to offer to us because they were very small. Well, we were happy to have a place to sleep! The reception of the customer was very cordial and our presentation convinced them. I really like to think of this short but nice project in Bavaria.

I expect from people: Keep what they promise. Basically, I judge others by myself and I prefer honesty to misleading.

When leading people I consider important: Humanity. To be able to empathize with each other and keep humility instead of superiority. I believe it will build trust between us. (Note. Let me read it sometime in a year to see if I stayed true to my principles.)

When I’m not working: I dance, sing and when I have even more time and space on the wall, I paint.

Matúš Špirka

Matúš Špirka

ERP Production and Maintenance Services

When I get up for work, I look forward to: A pleasant and motivating work environment and the company of colleagues over morning coffee.

I am responsible for: Satisfaction of people in the team and their professional growth. For customer satisfaction, for the quality of delivered services, for the integration of new colleagues into the team and for a suitable assignment of work.

The most amazing part of my job is: To see that we are a good team, even if we are not working right now.

The biggest challenge I faced: To convince the customer that it is possible to replace the existing super worker with another without reducing the quality of services provided.

The most memorable moment in my career: I don't have one.

I expect from people: A responsible and proactive approach to work, a willingness to advise others and share my experiences. It is also important to be able to work independently, but at the same time not to forget your team.

When leading people I consider important: Mutual trust and good mood. It is important to help people with everyday responsibilities, or with solving problems. I try to have an understanding of the way people work and think and their interconnection in a team.

When I’m not working: I spend time with my family, relax with music or read the latest news.

Marián Fabišík

Marián Fabišík

Cloud Infrastructure Administration

When I get up for work, I look forward to: I'm looking forward to being in the office soon.

My career path:After graduating, I worked in the UK, later 6 years in an IT corporation. In 2016, I joined FPT Slovakia as an IT administrator.

I am responsible for:I am currently responsible for our virtual Cloud team, which runs multiple streams (Amazon Web Service, Azure and SAP BTP). In the past, I was responsible for customer applications running on Linux and Windows OS, middleware components and also databases (MS SQL, MySQL). Since January 2022, I have been in charge of the CIA (Cloud Infrastructure Administration) team as the TL.

The most amazing part of my job is: Constant striving for progress, the possibility of acquiring new knowledge in this process, the communication itself in our team and also in the company.

The biggest challenge I faced:I would divide the answer into two parts - life and professional. In terms of life challenges, it is certainly the role of the parent and the upbringing of the child. If we talk about the professional part, I feel that the biggest challenge is still waiting for me. Moving to the other side, from a technical to a managerial position, requires a slightly different skillset. However, I am happy to accept this challenge and I believe that there will be satisfaction with my work in this position.

The most memorable moment in my career: My most memorable moment in my career so far has been the approximately 2-month preparation for the AWS Solution Architect certification exam and its successful completion.

I expect people to: Apply the values and principles of our corporate strategy in their daily dealings.

When leading people I consider important: For me, the most important thing is communication, whether towards the team or towards the customer. I also consider it important to know the strengths and weaknesses of team members and thus define opportunities for growth and improvement.

When I’m not working:I try to dedicate my time to my family and my hobbies.

Quality Manager

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Na chutnú kávu a novú stranu v mojom pracovnom denníku, ktorú naplním zaujímavými úlohami a produktívnymi stretnutiami, či už s kolegami, zákazníkmi, audítormi, dodávateľmi…

I am responsible for:  Oblasť manažmentu kvality, ktorá zahŕňa sledovanie výkonnosti interných procesov, podpora zákazníkov a delivery, reportovanie firemných ukazovateľov, riadenie internej dokumentácie, príprava a realizácia interných auditov, aktívna koordinácia pri externých auditoch (ISO, zákaznícke, resp. dodávateľské audity), archivácia dokumentov, taktiež som kontaktná osoba v prípade spracovania osobných údajov.

The most amazing part of my job is: Že spojitosť s kvalitou sa nájde v každej oblasti.

The most memorable moment in my career: Keď som v priebehu 3 mesiacov naplánovala, zorganizovala, realizovala a vyhodnotila celosvetové hodnotenie dodávateľa môjho zamestnávateľa a predišla tak výrazným finančným únikom vďaka odhaleniu zlých licenčných metrík.

I expect people to: budú úprimní a otvorení čeliť novým výzvam, či sa to týka procesov, štúdia, alebo akejkoľvek inej pracovnej zmeny.

When leading people I consider important: Pravidelnú a priamu komunikáciu, ktorá pomôže predísť mnohým nedorozumeniam.

When I’m not working: Rada sa venujem svojej rodine, spoločne radi cestujeme a keď sa zvýši čas, tak si rada zabehám (zatiaľ iba v relaxačnom tempe :-))

Peter Kočiš

Peter Kočiš

IT Manager

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Samozrejme na rannú kávu a na to, čo ma v daný deň postretne (aj to neočakávané).

V roku 2007 som nastúpil do Fpt Slovakia (ex RWE IT Slovakia) na oddelenie vytvárania manuálnych a neskôr automatizovaných inštalačných balíkov. Po určitej dobe som prevzal zodpovednosť za tím v role tímového vedúceho a po príchode Fpt na Slovensko mám na starosti internú infraštruktúru.

I am responsible for: Hlavné oblasti, za ktoré som zodpovedný v Fpt Slovakia, sú IT Infraštruktúra a ISMS. Inými slovami, zodpovedám za technicky funkčné a bezpečné prostredie zariadení a kolegov, ktorí dodávajú rôznu podporu externému ale i internému zákazníkovi.

The most amazing part of my job is: Vidieť, že výsledok spoločnej práce má pozitívny dopad na prácu našich kolegov.

The most memorable moment in my career: Existujú viaceré momenty, ktoré aj napriek nejasnému priebehu (projekt, audit, spolupráca so zákazníkom) skončili pozitívnym výsledkom.

I expect people to: Hlavne ľudskosť, úprimnosť, zodpovednosť za zverené úlohy.

When leading people I consider important: Poznať čo najpodrobnejšie možnosti, schopnosti a povahu zvereného kolegu, aby sme využili maximum z toho, čo nám môže ponúknuť.

When I’m not working: Teším sa zo života s rodinou, čas trávim prácou okolo domu a záhrady, sledujem rôzne bezpečnostné hlásenia generované našimi kolegami a riešim ich 😉.

Tomáš Feterik

Tomáš Feterik

ERP FSK Logistic Services

When I get up for work, I look forward to: Na vôňu kávy od manželky a na synov okamžitý nástup energetického maxima.

A ako sa vraví, the rest is history.

I am responsible for: Tím obdivuhodných SAP konzultantov a ABAP vývojárov, inak nazývaný aj ERP Logistics tím.

The most amazing part of my job is: Že mi umožňuje podporovať jedinečných ľudí a učiť sa od nich.

The biggest challenge I faced: Opustiť zabehnutý kolektív v čase pandémie a nastúpiť do novej firmy.

The most memorable moment in my career: Aj keď si ho nepamätám, tak potvrdzujúci telefonát, že ma berú do mojej vôbec prvej práce.

Dátum a miesto upresním.

When leading people I consider important: Mať čas, priestor a záujem si každého vypočuť a až po uvážení prehovoriť.

When I’m not working: Trávim čas s rodinkou, vybehnem bajkom na Jahodnú so susedom alebo počúvam hudbu z rokov 80-tych.
