We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Identity Management (IDM) Consultant with JAVA experience to be a vital contributor in the design, development, and deployment of identity and access management solutions for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leverage your expertise in SAP IDM and JAVA programming, and take ownership of delivering high-quality solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Project is delivery is for large corporate customer in energy industry with over 60k of employees. IDM is implemented for over 2 years, currently team of IDM consists of 6 IDM consultants. Agile style of working with active collaboration from operation team and SAP OPS team.

The role includes:

Solution Development and Customization:

  • Utilize your JAVA programming proficiency to customize and extend SAP IDM functionalities as needed.
  • Develop connectors and integration components to seamlessly link SAP IDM with diverse enterprise systems and applications.

    • Implementation and Integration:

  • Contribute to the implementation of SAP IDM solutions by configuring, testing, and deploying components.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful integration of SAP IDM with existing systems.

    • Technical Troubleshooting:

  • Identify and address technical issues related to SAP IDM implementation and integration.
  • Engage in root cause analysis, debugging, and problem resolution.

    • Documentation and Training:

  • Create clear and concise technical documentation, encompassing design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training sessions for clients and internal team members.

    • Security and Compliance:

  • Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards while designing and implementing identity management solutions.
  • Participate in security assessments and audits to validate solution effectiveness.

    • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and system administrators.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients to comprehend their business processes and align IDM solutions with their strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert insights and recommendations on identity management and security best practices.

  • 3+ years of experience as an SAP IDM Consultant with a solid background in JAVA programming.
  • Profound understanding of identity and access management principles, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SAP IDM configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Hands-on experience in developing JAVA-based connectors and extensions.
  • Knowledge in SAP GRC, HCM
  • Familiarity with security protocols, standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Relevant certifications in SAP IDM, JAVA programming, or related areas are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with additional identity management solutions and related technologies is a plus.
