Join our team as a Test Automation Engineer and contribute to innovative smart-home solutions. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be a part of a project of our customer - one of Europe's largest operators of energy networks and energy infrastructure, as well as a provider of innovative customer solutions for energy. You will be developing energy smart-home solutions, like connecting to solar panels, charging cars at home, etc.

#define Your_Responsibilities

  • execute manual tests where needed (e.g. with hardware devices in the background of our digital application)
  • add and maintain automation testing scripts
  • focus on testing and performance topics (auxiliary services)
  • plan automated end-to-end test cycles and integrate them into overall testing cycles
  • write and execute test cases based on new requirements in the development environment and integration systems
  • ensure the success of continuous integration and quality control through automation and manual tests
  • ensure high-quality solutions through automation
  • execute and gather new data for load and performance testing
  • work closely with everyone within the team, Product Owner / Co-Product Owners, Technical Architects, Testers, and Developers, to understand functional and technical requirements
  • communication with people outside the team to ensure the quality of the product

print( "You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have")

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with good knowledge of different test levels such as functional, integration and system tests
  • minimum of 1-year experience in Agile Testing
  • familiarity with different test design techniques
  • experience in test automation Cypress and Typescript
  • experience with creating automated tests using TypeScript (or JavaScript)
  • experience with usage of tools like Jira, HP ALM, TestFlow, Team City, SharePoint, Confluence
  • experience with API/ web service testing using tools like Soap UI, Postman, etc.
  • experience with SQL
  • familiarity with Agile Software Development (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) including understanding the role of testing in quality-focused agile development projects
  • highly interactive personality and good analytical capabilities for evaluating results
  • strong communication skills for handling verbal communication with the team and the stakeholders
  • proactive way of working
  • fluency in English, and German a plus
  • nice to have:
    • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Agile Tester Foundation Level
