Clone and delete
Our important customer in the Czech Republic is going through a process of significant organizational and legal changes, within which there is also a separation of customer services, support processes, assets and employees. Based on this situation, a need arose to create several new SAP systems for new business companies. These had to be reconfigured, merged with various external systems and transfer the necessary data.
FPT, as a long-term reliable partner in the area of service provision and SAP HR support, was entrusted with the organization and implementation of the project. The primary challenges were the correct identification of migration data, correctly identified migration paths and complex integrations to a number of internal and external systems.

Solution
The main technical focus are the activities associated with the development of tools for selective data deletion in SAP systems and the transfer of historical records of employees between individual SAP systems. The work also includes a significant amount of data analysis, revision of RFC connections and web services, as well as a number of configuration activities at the SAP Basis level. During the project, FPT actively cooperates with several other suppliers responsible for building new separate infrastructure environments and for interfaces between SAP systems and numerous external applications.
The first significant stage of the project was completed and successfully passed the PWC audit. The next stages focus mainly on configuration activities in the SAP systems of new companies and on activities related to data consolidation in these systems.
